Sadana Center Updates Regarding COVID-19

Gov. DeSantis has announced that the state is transitioning into a “full Phase 1” beginning today, May 18. With the transition, gyms will be able to reopen at 50 percent capacity by adhering to safety protocols, with social distancing and sanitizing measures.
We are very pleased to announce that Sadana Center will resume activities on our physical location on June 1st! Until then we will continue with the online classes.
We are following guidelines, practicing and enforcing social distancing as recommended by the CDC.
The following are the steps we will follow to keep our students safe:
We will clean and sanitize the studio, clean the mats, wash the pillows.
We will have cleaning supplies for our students to sanitize the yoga mats after each use.
Sanitizer stations will be located around the kwoon.
We recommend our members to bring their own pillow and yoga mats.
For our Sadana members will be optional if they want to use a face mask but Shifu will use a mask in all the classes.
We will place social distancing notice floor decals coated with anti-slip material to remind students how important it is to keep 6 feet of separation.

March 25, 2020. Sadana Center began its online classes. We are using the Zoom App as a web platform to connect with our members and continue with our classes
March 18, 2020. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and following the CDC recommendations in order to reduce health risks we moved our Taichi & Qigong indoor private to an uncrowded outdoor area (Safety Harbor Waterfront Park). Our members maintained at least a six-foot distance between each other. Also, we did our first Facebook Live transmission for our Sadana Center students that couldn't attend so they can practice their regular Taichi & Qigong routine from home.
