After many years of total immersion in the practice of Buddhist and Taoist QiGong in my country, it was until 2002 when I learned The Shamanic Tiger Qigong from a Taoist Master Zhongxian.
The Shamanic Tiger Qi Gong practice is excellent for dispersing Qi stagnation in the physical body, massaging the joints and spine, stimulating the tendons, and also increasing the harmonization of the Qi (energy) of our entire body.
In Chinese medicine, it is important to take care of the density of the bones and internal organs. In fact, for over four thousand years, Chinese medicine has developed many of its own methods for treating arthritis, including acupuncture, massage, herbal treatments, and Qigong exercises.
According to Chinese medicine, our spine and bones are important parts of our physical body, essential to support the structure and express the movement of our spirit.
As the body ages over time, bone density decreases and bone health deteriorates.
Chinese medicine believes that even if you have inherited a weak joint, it is still possible to strengthen it through Qigong. When you exercise, the movement of the muscles and tendons brings the Qi to the joint. This will nourish the joint and rebuild it.
That is why many people in Asian countries start practicing Qigong; to reduce arthritic pain.
Today, I would like to share the secret of maintaining strong bones and tendons after the age of 50.
Would you like to prevent bone and joints problems in the future? On September 25th I am going to do a “Happy Bones & Joints” Workshop where I will teach Tiger Qigong exercises to improve bone density, increase energy, and circulate vital energy "Qi".
The White Tiger Qigong has 24 movements. In this workshop (Part I) the participants will learn the first twelve movements.
All are welcome. No Qigong experience is necessary.
American society usually exercises to lose weight or tone muscles.
At Sadana Center we teach you the true roots of Chinese Qigong. If you have not yet experienced Qigong, come join us! make your bones move, make the water in your body flow, and begin to feel stronger, healthier, and full of much Qi!
Over the past two decades, thousands of people in the Tampa Bay area have benefited from this ancient knowledge.
In the shamanic tradition, the Tiger represents the bone structure, the joins, and the spine.
