Li Da Tapping Qigong is a form of Qigong that, according to Taoist Medicine works intending to release the five evil emotions: anger, anxiety, control, grief, and fear.
Li Da Qigong is about healing yourself using your touch.
Li Da is like acupuncture but without needles. The basic premise is that by striking vigorously near the bones and specific areas using any part of the hands and fists, the vibrations are sent throughout and deep in the body, eliminating tension and inflammation (which can cause all kinds of anguish and illness), allowing the body to self-correct according to its natural intelligence.
This ancient Qigong technique dates back about 5,000 years and was practiced by ancient Taoist 'Wu' shamans and has nothing to do with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
What people know as an EFT is Li Da or Tapping, which means tapping with fire.
The "Heavenly Pillar"Â
When I met my first Taoist Qigong master in 1989, he always used Li Da tapping techniques to adjust our spine.
In classical Taoist medicinal traditions, the spine is sometimes known as the "heavenly pillar."Â It is the aspect of the human body that sits as a vertical column through our body, connecting us to the powers of Heaven above and Earth below.
In our Qigong Instructor Training Program, we use this ancient technique tapping the spine to release stagnant emotions. Our spine is the channel of energy and is deeply connected to the nervous system.
Breaking Free from the Past
Do you feel sometimes overwhelmed and stuck? Does it seem like circumstances or emotions that you’d like to leave behind just continue to repeat themselves? You’re not alone. We’re energetic beings, and when energy becomes stagnant, it prevents us from moving forward.
On Sat, Dec 16, 2023, I would like to invite you to our last event of the year with the workshop "Breaking Free from the Past".
In this workshop, you’ll learn to release old patterns of thought and emotions that are holding you back.
I will be with Shaman Dr. Cesar Lara to live a truly unique and powerful experience. During the workshop, we’ll share specific tools and techniques for you to use along your shamanic healing journey, and you will have the opportunity to practice the Taoist relaxation technique Li Da Tapping Qigong.
This is a limited-space event and will be our last event of 2023. We hope you can join us!
