Which Qigong exercises to practice for a healthy Body during Spring?

We are only a week away from the official arrival of the Spring season, and we can feel the seasonal changes both in our bodies and in our lives.

Often, many people get sick when the seasons change. This is because their bodies' Qi cannot adjust smoothly or match with the Qi of the new season.

Our Qigong practice varies seasonally to support the body’s natural healing abilities.

Working with the flow of Nature can give you added healing support.

In the Chinese calendar, there are five seasons: Spring, Summer, Late Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each season has its own energy or qi. When we harmonize with these energies, we can move towards living a more nourishing and balanced life.

Spring is a season of growth and transformation, the station of Yang (the sun) and the element of wood. Spring is the time to be more active and detoxify and strengthen our bodies.

Due to inactivity during the winter, the liver can accumulate stagnant blood and metabolic waste. Unfortunately, this buildup can obstruct the flow of both Qi and blood in the body.

Therefore, during the Spring we focus on the liver and gallbladder.

It's time to nourish the liver because it has a very strong influence on us. It affects our communication, our emotions, the functioning of our muscles, and the circulation and flow of our blood and Qi.

Follow Nature: How Seasonal Qi Affects You.

We have created a new FOUR SEASONS QIGONG PROGRAM, that begins this Spring to bring you fresh Qi and vital energy.

You can choose from Qigong for Women to recover women's physical and emotional balance using powerful self-healing Qigong exercises, or Dynamic Qigong which is designed for those who want to experience a deeper level of Qigong for cardiovascular power and fitness.

But remember, whichever class you choose is a wonderful choice!

Sadana Center Four Seasons Qigong is a Program that specializes in training the five internal Yi organs: liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys which correspond to the four seasons of the year. Students will learn how to regulate the body from one season to the next to avoid common illnesses.

You will adjust your body’s Qi during the change of seasons so your health can be maintained.

Please click here to learn more about our new Program that will provide specific easy-to-learn Qigong exercises that will keep you healthy throughout the season, will stimulate the meridians, and organs, will help you to prevent stagnation of energy, pain, and injury, will boost your immune system, boost your mental and physical fitness, and reduce stress and relax deeply.

Our Four-Seasons Qigong Program is suitable for adult students of all levels. No prior experience is necessary.

It is important to mention that these are limited-space classes. We recommend registering as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Classes start 3/21/23
