In the last blog post, we talked about the meaning of the dragon in Chinese culture.
The dragon in Chinese medicine represents the fire that keeps our spirit alive.
Also, we talked about the concept of health lies in balancing Yin and Yang, the existence of two opposite but complementary forces that are essential in the universe.
When yin and yang are deficient, weak, or tense, the treatment is fire. And that is when the body's meridians come into play.
For Chinese medicine, meridians are the set of an energetic network that expands throughout our physical body like rivers of water that run through our entire body.
During the last 20 years of my life in this country, I have been working with thousands of people who have lost their fire, that fire that purifies us, feeds us and enriches our spirit.
Some lost it due to experiences from their past, others because they are sad, frustrated, afraid, and have ended up losing their will.
Awakening and regulating the fire by working with that internal dragon that lives within each of us is very important to be able to follow our life purposes.
My Master said that the best way to meet the dragon is to ride him and fly with him through the skies.
Join us on Saturday, October 21st, at 10 a.m. for a 2-hour Shamanic Dragon Qigong and Sound Meditation workshop where you can learn about the majesty of the dragon.
The workshop will begin with the Venerable Dragon Qigong to light your fire and will culminate with the Sound Bath meditation.
Venerable Dragon Qigong is a traditional Chinese internal alchemy method that embodies the spirit of the ascending fire dragon, which is an auspicious symbol of great transformation in Chinese culture.
This form of Qigong works directly with the meridians (the body's energy network) to release areas of stagnation and bring the physical and emotional body to a balanced state of well-being.
This form of Qigong implements special visualization and breathing techniques, as well as movements that imitate sparks rising from a bonfire and spinning upward like a spiraling dragon. Stirring our "inner fire" melts the "ice", or areas of blockage and disease, opens our energetic pathways, and allows the smooth flow of Qi in our meridians.
2024 will be the year of the Dragon. If you were born in 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, or 2012, then your Chinese zodiac sign is the Dragon, and this workshop will be a very special gift for you!
Unleash your inner fire and awaken your spirit with the Shamanic Dragon Qigong workshop. Join us and ride the dragon to find balance and healing.
Love & Qi healing!
