In Chinese culture, the dragon is a sacred creature that is a symbol of prosperity, bountiful harvests, good health, good luck, strength, wisdom, protection, and also the male element Yang.
In our Western culture, the dragon is labeled as a threatening monster that breathes fire and destroys everything in its path, however, seen from the Eastern perspective it is quite the opposite.
The Chinese dragon is one of the four benevolent animals in Chinese mythology and one of the twelve animals in the Chinese horoscope. Its popular image has been used for millennia to symbolize strength, majesty, prosperity, and health.
Keep your spirit alive with Shamanic Qigong.
The dragon in Chinese medicine represents fire and makes us understand that fire is what keeps our spirit alive. Without fire, we would no longer exist in this life. Many philosophies and religions speak of a living fire that lives within each of us.
According to the canons of Chinese medicine, the concept of health lies in balancing Yin and Yang.
The Principle of Yin-yang on Shamanic Qigong
Yin-yang is a principle of Chinese medicine that explains the existence of two opposite but complementary forces that are essential in the universe: yin, associated with the feminine, darkness, passivity, and the earth; and yang, linked to the masculine, the light, the active and the sky.
In the ancient book of Chinese medicine Lingshu in Neijing it is stated that “when yin and yang are deficient, fire should be used”, “when the meridians are weak, the treatment is fire” and “when the meridians are tense”, fire must be applied.”
I would like to invite you on Saturday, October 21, 2023, to a special 2-hour workshop:
"Shamanic Dragon Qigong & Sound Bath Meditation" where you will learn about the majesty of the dragon, and how to light your fire with exercises of the Dragon Qigong Sage style.
The workshop will culminate with a Sound Bath meditation.
Awakening and regulating the fire by working with that internal dragon that lives within each of us is very important to be able to follow our life purposes.
